Dales birthday cont'd

Today was a wonderful day. We had cake and presents as planned then we went to lunch with the Creg's. The kids played on the chess board in the mall until we were asked to leave by the mall security. He said that kids were not allowed to play on the chess set. Although the other mall security guards said thats what the chess set is for. O well. I guess mall gets pretty boring for some of the thrill seeking security officers. After the mall and a short nap Dale and I went on a date. Ahh!!! It was very very nice. I love our time out alone. I actually completed full sentences. When we came home Grace was still awake and I was happy to see her and put her to bed myself. I still love being a mom. Grace seems to becoming more precious every day. As she is learning new things we put the phrase "big girl" in front of whatever we are saying. For instance, "big girl potty" or " big girl chair" or "big girl cup". So today as Dale was opening a present she said, "Big girl box" and climbed into the shirt box he had just opened. Very cute.
