State Fair

What a weekend! Dale's little sisters , Melissa and Allison, danced at the state fair this weekend. On Saturday morning we went to see them dance. They were absolutely fabulous. Even though I am just their sister-in-law I was so so proud of them and fought to hold back the tears the whole time. After the girls danced we took Grace to see the farm animals. I realized that Grace had never seen the animals she talks about the most. She had so much fun. She was able to get up close and personal with all the animals. We even took a bit home with us on our shoes.

Thursday evening was my dads birthday. I would have more pictures but I ran out of batteries. Sorry dad. We had a fun time with the whole family. Grace loves playing with her cousins. The next day dad got to go on a golf outing for two days. What a great way to celebrate a birthday.

Friday we celebrated with papaw. He has been in the accounting business for 25 years. His office had a surprise party for him. After dessert they had a corn hold tournament in the office. For a bunch of accountants they did a good job. just kidding. They have a lot of fun in their office. Congratulations papaw!!!
