Apples, Big Girl Style
Well, last night our children stayed at Nana's and Papaw's house. We had a church thing that kept us out until almost 11pm. I must say that when we came home to no children it was very strange and somewhat sad. I was very thankful that before i went to bed I didn't have to make sure i had bottles clean for the next day, or that all of the monitors were plugged in. However it was strange not being able to check on them before i went to bed. So, instead I prayed for them and trusted that they were sleeping soundly in there little beds at Nana's. Isn't funny how two little things that can cause so much stress also bring the most joy that anyone could ever have. I am not alone in my thinking. Dale was a little sap last night too. This morning i woke up at 7am and lay in bed wondering why in the world i was not sleeping . Finally I gave up, and decided to have the morning I always want but cannot have while my kids are here. I am a morning person and love having time to myself when i wake up. With two young kids that is hard to come by.
Grace has been such a joy to me lately. (micah has been fussy with reflux, but still a joy too)
Grace is getting four new teeth. Thursday morning while I was unloading the dishwasher Grace decided to help. She put away all of the silverware, and all of the plastic plates and cups on the counter for me. I didnt have the heart to straighten them out. Later that day while micah was asleep we sat in front of the fire and at marsh-e-mellos. She can only get through one but she always wants "two ones". On the same day she got an apple out of the fridge and started eating it peel and all. She ate the whole thing, it took her an hour. Ever since then she has been eating apples , big girl style, left and right. She is getting so big.
On Wednesday I was changing Micah's diaper and left them in his room for a few minutes. When I came back Micah was looking at me like, " Where did you go" with diapers laying all around him . Grace had a little too much fun with micah's diapers.

gald to hear that you are boot free and hopefully all is going well. I look forward to seeing you soon.
So cute! Her and Jaeda would be such good friends...I love hearing stories about your kids, they are precious! Oh, and I understand about the diapers. Kaitlin has decided that it is her job to dump the basket daily, one by one. I don't clean them up until she is napping because I dont have the heart too either!
