We had a fun filled and snow filled
weekend. Monday morning my best friend , Janie, from Tennessee called and asked if she could stop by on Friday night. I was absolutely thrilled and excited to see her. We have not seen each other in over a year. We both had new babies to show off to one another. I soon heard that we were supposed to get snow so I was worried that she would not make it in. However Janie has tattoos. She is wild and crazy and snow would not keep her away. ( I love you Janes) So she got in around 8pm on Friday evening. We quickly put the kids to bed and stayed up talking and eating like old times.
The next day there was 10 inches of snow on the ground. Janie had to go but the snow stayed.
The first day we played in the snow Grace did not have gloves or snow pants. Dale had gone to Target to find anything suitable for snowy weather and all he could come up with was sunny patch rain boots. They are cute and the kept her feet dry so I guess it worked. The next day my sister let us borrow snow mittens and pants so that Gracie could really have some fun. (Thanks Jamie) Our snowman is small in stature because I can't for the life of me find my ski gloves. That was all the snow I could bare to roll up. Grace didn't care, she loved her snowman anyway. Dale designed the Mr. Snowman's face. Rigatoni eyes, baby carrot nose and a malt ball mouth.
