Happy homecoming!!!

We took the kids to visit mom in the hospital last week. Grace had so much fun. Mom taught her how to use the controls on the bed. She also spent some time coloring and reading books with pop-pop. The other lady in the picture with Grace and mom is my aunt Gloria. (She got the red hair gene too) Anyway, Mom is coming home from the hospital today. Yay!!! we are very excited. She is doing much better. She will be starting Chemotherapy very soon so continue to pray for her. I will keep everyone posted on all of those details. I must say through all of this I have never heard her complain. I am so encouraged by her faith and love for God. She is a very remarkable woman.

During the last few weeks I have spent several hours everyday and nights at the hospital. My precious sweet husband has been absolutely wonderful. The house is clean believe it or not. He has done laundry everyday, made our bed every morning, taken care of the children and so much more. He is a wonderful husband. Dale usually does not play with his eyes closed but it was a good picture of Grace so its the one I posted. One of my absolute favorite things we do at our house is sit around and sing and dance while Dale plays the piano. I have never heard " This little light of mine" played quite like dale plays it anywhere else. Dale is a wonderful spiritual leader in our home as well. For the last few weeks he has encouraged me through his example to spend time in God's word every night instead of turning on the television. I cannot tell you what a difference it has made in our home. The atmosphere is quite different. I am so thankful for my husband.

You and your Mom are remarkable women. Your faith has been incredible through this whole ordeal. I am so happy that she's home and will start the next stage of her recovery. We'll continue to pray for her (and you).

Love
Sandy
