All is calm, all is bright

Look closely

If you look very close you can see little goose heads poking up out of the tall grass. this is what we saw yesterday morning after breakfast. we quickly ran for bread crumbs and fed these big birds. 

Much better today. I just want to say that i am so thankful for my wonderful kids. It is about 11 am and Micah and Grace have been playing in their own seperate rooms for about 45 min. or so. We call this "room time". It allows them to learn to play with a few toys for any amount of time. It teaches them to be content and to have a sustained attention span. it also allows me to: prepare dinner, unload the dishwasher and clean four bottles and sip coffee. AH. I am getting ready to retrieve them but i just want to say that i am so thankful for these kids.

  Also, i left out so much yesterday that i wanted to say about Dale. He is an absolutely amazing husband. I am so thankful for his patience and leadership in our family. Having three kids in under four years would be hard on any marriage. I can honestly say that i am happily married and still very much in love with my husband. I love being with him and love walking in to a room with his hand in mine.
