So here is a book that i have begun to read. It is called , "Don't Make Me Count to Three". So far it is wonderful.
Basicley this book is about discipline but in a Biblical way. She encourages and equips moms to reach past outward behavior of their children and dive deeply into the issues of the heart. It is very good i highly recommend it.

This is a little calendar like pamphlet with tons of scripture that deals with discipline it is also by Ginger Plowman. Have you ever thought to yourself, "what was that verse that talked about obeying your parents"? This little thing is only $3 or so. you can find it on amazon.

Another fun book is Deceptively Delicious by Jessica Seinfeld. Ooh ooh I love this book. The funny thing is i haven't really been able to use it much yet. It is filled with yummy, healthy recipes and helpful info. She gives you recipes and ways to sneak healthy stuff in every day foods. Her big thing is adding purees to food. She tells you how to puree veggies and what significance each veggie holds. I love it. Speaking of healthy food.
Last night I tried a new soup recipe. The kids ate it up.
First start with chicken and onion. Saute them in extra virgin olive oil. when they are nice and cooked add chicken broth. (enough for however much soup you want) then chop up carrots, squash,
zucchini and cauliflower. Add all the veggies to the pot. then add a can or so of chopped tomatoes with basil garlic and oregano. Simmer until done. viola. really easy and very tasty.
Can i just say i love serving at a church that is in the "country". Today we visited a very sweet couple and they gave us some tasty home grow corn to take home. (we sat outside under a shade tree to chat, I love the "country") I cooked it tonight and it was delicious. Grace was a very good eater tonight. She ate corn, mashed potatoes, salad and her meat. She ate all of her veggies!!! I was so proud of her. Micah is always a good eater but this was a big deal for Grace.
that's all for now. i could ramble on for hours but i must go to bed.
