Im not pregnant any more

Ok I couldnt help but post this on the blog. Just for those of you who may not know this but asking a perfect stranger how far along they are is not the best way to make friends. Dale and I were getting a sandwhich last night and a guy asked me, " so how far along are you?" I told him that i had just had a baby and that he was crazy. just kidding. Actually i tried to smooth over the conversation. I think he felt embarrased and i was mordified. after he left I couldnt help but start crying. Ofcourse dale told me that i did not still look pregnant but that is like your mom telling you that you are pretty. You dont always believe them. That is what they are supposed to say. Oh yeah and i didnt mention that this is the second time in the past week that someone has asked me if i was pregnant. The first person has some technical difficulties ,if you know what i mean ,but still it counts. I say all of that to just throw this out there. Unless a person is actually in labor in front of you don't assume they are pregnant. Maybe you can start the conversation like this, "so how are you feeling today?". A pregnant person is always willing to offer there pregnancy updates. More than likely they will tell you that they are pregnant. Well i think i am over it now. thanks for letting me vent.

p.s. I felt i needed to post a picture so this a pic of Grace and her grandmama. She misses you grandmama.

After Paige was born (maybe 2 weeks) I was at Home Depot and this employee came up to me and said, "So, are we excited?!" I knew he thought I was pregnant still. I said, "Actually, we are so excited because our baby has already been born!" He didn't say much else! But don't worry, you're not the only one to be mistaken for pregnant when you're really not! Thanks for sharing and I hope all the men will read your advice!! Love you, D

Hanna, Bless your heart! Don't you worry about it. Soon, the little one will be crawling and you will be doing double duty keeping up with both kids and before you know it, all that weight will come off. You are doing a wonderful job with your family. Thanks for the pic of me and Gracie, I do miss her and Micah, too! Love, Mom
