Micah is eating a ritz cracker in this picture. I love his hat. He kinda looks like a truck driver wearing it but my friend said he looks like Ashton Kritcher. (really unsure of his correct spelling)I He has started eating cherios and drinking from a sippy cup. I love it. It is so nice when you are out and about to be able to give him a cracker or water to hold him over until a meal.
Ok, Now for my second love. ( just kidding, kinda) Flylady.com. I love flylady. I had someone asking me to post about it so here it goes in a nutshell. Fly lady is set up for people who are busy or have kids or have other things going on in there lives that make it hard for them to keep their house clean. What it does is teach you habits that make your life easier. So, as a beginner you start with cleaning your kitchen sink, then you move into routines. For instance, every night before i go to bed i make sure that my kitchen is clean and I run the dishwasher. In the morning right after breakfast i unload the dishwasher and have an empty dishwasher for the day so that my sink doesn't get piled up with dishes. It is amazing how a little habit like that will save you time. It also encourages ,stay at home moms, to get dressed all the way down to their toes every morning. ( you must put your shoes on) This helps you to be more productive during the day. Another thing that I do is every morning i throw a load of laundry in the washing machine right when i get up. Then, throughout the day i fold and put it away. This really helps to keep the mountains of laundry down. There are many things that flylady suggest that I do not do yet. I kinda pick and choose what works best for me. They really stress that it is not about being perfect. I do this not because I have to have "perfect house" because my house is far from that. However, it REALLY cuts down my stress level. I know that my house is clean. Anyway, I am sure that i left a ton out but you can check it out for yourself at flylady.com

You know I love Flylady too! Her motto is "Progress, not perfection." This is a hard lesson for me to learn, but I'm working on it. I, too, pick and choose what works for me because the Flylady site can be overwhelming, but I love having my house "company ready" all the time. Now I gotta go -- you've inspired me to do my mission for the day!
Love you bunches,
Sandy
