Easter

We dyed easter eggs Friday with Aunt Melissa and Aunt Alli.

The kids had so much fun. Only one cup of dye was spilled. After the kids went to bed the big kids stayed up and played Rook. I expect a rematch soon. Saturday we got together with my side of the family at my mom's house. We had a huge easter egg hunt. My children were less concered about the money and more excited about the "yummies" (candy). A first for me. My mom helped me make the kids outfits this year. I kinda ran out of time for sam's outfit but he matched.

After Sunday morning service Dale's side of our family came over for lunch. We had another easter egg hunt. Nanna brought the children fun baskets.

Micah only picked up the eggs that had yummies in them.

I love Easter. It is the reason we have hope. Jesus is Alive! Praise the Lord we have a hope. My favorite song we sang sunday was The Power of the Cross by the Getty's. here are the lyrics.
