Fun things

Friday night was movie night. So, we decided to have a fun time with it. The kids got to make their own pizza. Micah surprisingly really enjoyed making his pizza. He stepped up to the assembly line and started to make his pizza like he had done it many times before. I see pizza making in his future. just kidding.

I tried a new recipe sat. Lasagna Soup. I got the recipe from my favorite magazine Family Fun. I like to make new recipes because it makes cooking for the family new and exciting. You can find the recipe here PS i just gotta say that i love this magazine. the webstite is fun but overwhelming so that magazine is the perfect amount of info.

My two cents: I have found that staying at home all the time with the kids especially in the winter can get kinda borring. its true. i admit i dont love every minute of being a stay at home mom. In fact there are lots of minutes that i dont love it. SO, I have found when i try and make things fun for the kids i am actually making it fun for me. (movie night, valentines day, D.A.D. dad appreciation day) I am not going to pretend this doesnt ware me out. At the end of the day my mascara is usually running down my face and i have baby cereal on each sholder. But its work. Its ok to be tired at night. It just means you have had a full day of hard work. Most people have to go to work and work hard so i guess i am not excluded. Ps if you are nine months pregnant you are excluded from this last paragraph, Ashley. ;)

yeah, Staying at home is not always fun :) I am so grateful that I get to, even if I am at the office 10-15 hours a week, I am still doing that for my hubby and not just a job. Days can get SOOOOO long but projects always make it better. Staying home with one is just as much work to me as teaching 28 1st graders, been there done that and this is so worth it.
