Trip to the Beach
I am so thankful we had the opportunity to go on a vacation away. we needed the break and were extremely blessed to have been able to spend it at the beach with my parents. we loved every minute of it. 
we had dinner at cheeburger cheeburger. good burgers. however just before this picture was taken i broke a class and had a giant peice of glass in my foot while the picture was being taken.
we ate lunch on the road while traveling home. this pic was taken right when we left to come home. he was asleep before we hit the inerstate.
the morning we were to leave florida dale talked me into one last trip to the beach. the kids and dale could not get enough.

i had just as much fun or more than the kids finding shells on sanibel island.
Isnt this little boy just precious.
He was a little timid at first but by the last day he was in the ocean.
the kids could not get enough of the dale this week. they love having him around all the time. He is a wonderful dad. He lavishes love on our kids. their love tanks were definately full this week.
I thought that if i let sam taste the sand he would decide not to put it in his mouth. He tasted it and still ate it. it was hard to keep the sea shells out of his mouth. although he liked setting in the beach chairs.

Love the beach blog. The first pic cracks me up. That burger is HUGE! I'm sorry about your foot. I hope you are OK now. You make me want to go to the beach..... maybe someday. Love you all!
I am so glad you all were able to finally get to the beach!! It is well worth the travel time, and the memories are priceless!!
