Meet Sam. I love this kid. I love his personality. I love that he is all boy. I have often said that when he is awake, he is getting in trouble. The only problem is that when he does something that he knows he should not be doing, he looks at you with those beautiful blue eyes and a sweet smile as if to say, "look what I did" or "aren't you proud of me." I have learned that it can be difficult to discipline under those circumstances. Anyway, I told Hannah that I have been wanting to post a picture or two of him recently as he has been growing up so quickly. Both Micah and Sam have birthdays coming up within the next several weeks. Micah will turn three and Sam will turn two. It is very hard to believe that my sons are already another year older. Hopefully, there will be plenty of funny pictures to post over the next couple of weeks as we celebrate all of the May birthdays.
As I am thinking about my boys tonight, I am reminded of one of my favorite passages in the Bible: "Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb's reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one's youth. Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them!" - Psalm 127:3-5. Lord, help me to always view my children in light of these truths. Please remind me constantly of the rich blessing that they are to my life. Amen.

Hey Sweetheart, I am so glad you are continuing to post blogs. It is good to read and see your sweet family. Yes, children do grow extremely fast and yes, it is hard to discipline when they look at you with big, round, innocent eyes!! I love you all, Mom
