Monday night Dale had to work late so Grace and I made cookies. Grace had so much fun. We got all of our ingredients out and put them in our bowl. When we melted the butter in the microwave she cried and said, "Oh no". She didn't understand that I wanted the butter to melt. Micah just watched.

On Tuesday I got to go out with my sister in-laws. We painted ornaments at the artist in you and then we went to dinner. I had a lot of fun. I also realized none of them can whistle. I thought everyone knew how to whistle. We will work on it.

I am proud of you with the cookies, I did not bake any last Christmas and this year, I have not figured out how to do it either since Harrison can not help yet, and will not sit and watch, or play without tearing the house down.

Grace asked me to bake cookies when I was babysitting her and Micah last night. Now I know why! She said "bake cookies - put in an egg." She was so cute (as usual). I had so much fun taking care of them last night. Her vocabulary is just growing and growing! Yes, I was tired, but it was a fun, contented tired!
