Happy Birthday Micah!

Today, Micah turned three! Birthdays are always a great time of rejoicing around our home. So, I wanted to share a few photos with you of the celebration. One disclaimer: the celebration has not officially ended. We are looking forward to spending time with some other family members tomorrow night too. Therefore, this post will probably be updated in the next few days.

On Micah's Birthday-Eve, Mom-mom and Pop-pop (Hannah's parents) came by for lunch and presents.

We also have certain birthday ceremonies that we observe in our home. The most important is eating cake for breakfast. Shortly following the cake, there is usually a package or two to open. Here are a couple of pics from early this morning:

And finally, around mid-afternoon, Micah received a special package from his Grandma in Virginia. You probably can't tell that he was excited...

Tonight, as Hannah and I prayed with the kids, I thanked God for another year with my son. He is such a unique and special kid. Micah has a very sweet spirit and tender heart. It will be exciting to see what God will do in his life next year and in the years to come.
