the update

hey everyone, thank you so much for your prayers. My mom is doing much better in the pain department. She is so tough, she was waiting until she couldn't handle the pain to ask for more medicine. By the time she got the meds the pain was too great. I think she is doing better. She is still in the ICU unit. They are taking good care of her there. For those of you who don't know my mom was diagnosed with ovarian cancer about two weeks ago. She had a surgery on Monday to remove the cancer. They were successful in removing all of the cancer with the exception of a few small pieces that the chemotherapy should take care of. Her surgery was pretty extensive. The surgery took three surgeons and five hours to complete. Please please keep her in your prayers. The main thing the doctors are thinking about right now is her recovery from this surgery. So pray for her to heal quickly and that she would not feel much pain. The hardest thing for me so far is seeing her in pain. I absolutely hate seeing my mother in pain.
