Hello everyone, well I spent most of the day with mom. She is setting up and talking much more than yesterday. Her sense of humor is starting to come out again so I feel she is getting better. She asked me today to tell everyone to pray specifically for her bowels. I know it may seem like a strange request but it is very very important. Since her surgery they have not been working. In order for her to recover and be moved out of ICU they need to heal. She is still in a lot of pain so she really can't handle any company but a card of encouragement would probably be wonderful. She can't receive flowers in ICU so cards are about as much as they will allow. Anyway, for today please please pray for her bowels. Even though she is in a lot of pain and can't even hold up her Bible she was able to read a little today. She told me that she read Matthew 8 where Jesus healed the leper. She said that the Leper said, "Lord if you are willing, I will be clean." Jesus then told the leper that He was willing. We got to pray shortly after she told me what she read today and her prayer was so sweet. I am so amazed and encouraged by her faith. I love that woman. pleas keep praying and I will keep posting. love hannah
