Round and around we go

ARG!!! So why didnt anyone warn me about three year olds. What happend to my preciouse two year old. As we were celebrating with strawberry shortcake i had no idea what stage in life we were entering. I just sat in the bathroom for about 45 min trying to get grace to let me check her teeth after she brushed them. I was fun, i used my timer. NOTHING helped. So i decided i am going to make this child obey me. I am mommy i dont always have to be fun. sometimes she just has to obey just because. Arg. It pains me to discipline but I know that it is the best thing for my children. Seriously she was determined to not let me check her work. I praised her for brushing her teeth and i wanted to make sure the sugar bugs were gone. I tell you what that was more stressful than any corporate job i am sure. She screamed in octavs i have never heard before. I am sure there are dogs lined up outside of my house trying to figure out where that noise came from. I love that girl. She has got to learn to obey. She even tells me sometimes that i did not obey her. yikes. She has this new found will and has no idea that mommy and grace are not equals. she thinks she has just as much control as mommy and daddy. well i have heard boys are easier. lets hope so. i need a serious massage. well i better get off and rest up for round two.

Hang in there! Yes, age 3 is worse than 2. I thought that with all 3 of my kids! Pray alot!!! And find friends that are going through the same stage of life - you can cry and laugh together! :)

Someone told me a LONG time ago that the odd number years are harder than the even number years. I believe them! You're a great Mommy; I'll be praying for you (and Grace).
Love you bunches,
Sandy
